What the Heck is Biotech?® (WTHIB) is LabCentral's community engagement initiative that addresses the critical gap in public awareness about career pathways in life sciences through a flexible, tiered engagement model. We partner with community organizations, public schools, and nonprofits to immerse learners in realistic, dynamic, team-based problem-solving and experiential learning, empowering participants to see themselves in biotech.

Tier 1 - Standalone Workshops: Accessible, fixed-cost, virtual or in-person, 1–2-hour sessions that provide introductory biotech exposure

Tier 2 - Strategic Partnerships: Customized, immersive experiences recurring on set schedules throughout the year
