Blending staged photography with historical research, oral histories, and personal narrative, his work challenges settler-colonial myths, confronts erasure, and honors the enduring spirit of the Shinnecock people Jeremy Dennis is a contemporary artist and enrolled member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation. He received his MFA from Penn State University and BA in Studio Art from Stony Brook University. He is the founder and lead artist of Ma’s House & BIPOC Art Studio.
