What is this role?
LabCentral is looking for a highly organized and experienced Manager, Executive Administration to support our recently appointed CEO, Maggie O’Toole, in the exciting evolutionary efforts of a first-in-class life sciences startup accelerator and non-profit ecosystem innovator located in the heart of Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this cross-collaborative, high-volume position requires both strategic and tactical skills. The role offers broad business-impact administrative work through partnered approaches and prioritized management of time, energy and stakeholder relationships. The position would be an ideal match for the passionate career administrator who is seeking a proactive “rhythm of business” planning role and champions the philosophy that excellence in business administration is a key input for not only CEO success, but broader team and organizational success.

What will I do?
Responsibilities:
- In partnership with the VP of Operations, manage the corporate yearly rhythm of business schedule on behalf of the CEO and broader Leadership team.
- Provide dynamic strategic administrative calendaring support on behalf of the CEO, handling high volume of competing requests (via multiple clients internal and external to LabCentral) that require professional discernment on appropriate urgency/prioritization to complete.
- Manage process logistics for quarterly Board of Directors and sub-committee meetings.
- Responsible for weekly Senior Leadership Team meeting logistics management including agenda setting, meeting topic facilitation, and follow up action coordination/tracking.
- Partner closely with the Sr. Director of People Strategy & Culture on monthly All-Team meetings on process and organization of materials
- Email monitoring and task follow-up management for inbox of the CEO
- Coordinate meetings, speaking engagements, and conference logistics. Schedules and manages travel on behalf of the CEO (both domestic & international).
- Independently writes communications while also reviewing and editing executive communications on behalf of the CEO for grammar, style, content, and formatting.
- Prepares meeting prep material, reports, and research analysis based on information compiled from various sources on a regular basis.
- Initiates and continuously improves administrative procedures for company’s scaling needs.
- Coordination of other administrative projects as assigned.

- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Technical knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent platform (Google Suite / Mac OS etc.) with advanced skills in MS Outlook and MS Teams.
- Demonstrates understanding of company policies and procedures and their application/impact on company operations and success.
- Displays a working knowledge of the company’s mission critical goals and assists with the implementation of systems/ process that the company needs to operate effectively and achieve measurable success.
Qualifications:
- B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience, or
- H.S. Diploma, A.A. or A.S. and 8 – 10 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in Biotech preferred but not required
Work environment:
- Fully onsite during regular business hours
- Ability to sit for long periods, ability to move around an office environment, and ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds

Compensation:
Our compensation philosophy is intentional and researched to align with average market salaries; comprehensive, generous benefits to support overall well-being; and parity with our existing and future team members. Below details the value of what our compensation package may look like, but specific details pertaining to an individual will vary.
Salary range: $83k-98k along with the potential to earn a bonus of 12% based on company performance.
Approximate monetary value of benefits (based off an individual – dependents increase value): $24,000.
