Win a Servier Golden Ticket to get access to LabCentral’s vibrant and growing community!

Servier is a Gold level Sponsor of LabCentral, a top-tier shared laboratory space in Cambridge, Massachusetts, designed to serve as a launchpad for life science and biotech startups, and is seeking interested startups to apply for their Golden Ticket!

The recipient of the Servier Golden Ticket will receive a $50,000 credit towards space and services at LabCentral’s flagship site at 700 Main Street in Cambridge, for use within a 13-month period.

Servier invites startups to apply that are pursuing research in Servier's fields of interest, including:

  • Oncology: Cancer cell targeting (e.g., synthetic lethality, precision oncology) and immuno-oncology (e.g., tumor micro-environment, T-cell targeting)
  • Neurology: Rare movement disorders (Ataxias, Multiple System Atrophy, Huntington’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), Neuromuscular disorders (ALS, SMA, Myasthenia Gravis, FSHD, DMD, Dystrophic Myotony), Refractory epilepsies (Lennox-Gastaut, Dravet, West, DEEs), Genetically driven ASD (Rett, Phelan McDermid, Angelman), Leukodystrophies, Peripheral neuropathies (Charcot-Marie-Tooth)
  • Technologies enabling: Related to antibodies (multi-specific, multi-format platform), small molecules (computational-based, multiparametric optimization, medicinal chemistry), or oligonucleotides (drug delivery, design technology)
  • AI: AI/ML data-driven platforms for drug design (including oligonucleotides and antibodies) and to support translational activities (target and biomarker identification)

How to Apply:

To apply, please use this link to submit your application. All submissions will be reviewed by the Servier Golden Ticket Committee, which consists of Servier employees who are qualified experts in their fields, including in the fields of scientific and/or medical research and business. Judges shall have authority to make decisions as to the Award Recipients.

Applications will be judged using the following criteria:

Fit of the research in the fields of oncology or neuroscience; including for novel target identification, drug delivery, discovery technology platforms, or translational research and development.

  • Quality of the work;
  • Potential for successful development of the research; and
  • Need for the research in the applicable field

Judges will select a sub-set of the Applicants as Finalists. Finalists will be requested to present their concept as part of a Servier in-person innovation event. All innovation event presentations will be non-confidential.

The Judges may contact Applicants for additional information. If so contacted, Applicant must respond to such request in order to remain eligible to have the opportunity to win the Award. The Decisions of the Judges shall be final and binding on all Applicants and cannot be challenged in any manner.

Timeline:

  • Application submission opens: Tuesday, January 20th
  • Application deadline: Monday, March 2nd
  • Golden Ticket semi-finalists notified: Monday, March 23th
  • Servier Golden Ticket pitch event and announcement of finalist: Wednesday, April 15th – 700 Main Street, Cambridge MA 02139
